hi, am also a customer. thing about airfare is, the rate depends on the date you plan to travel. often, the earlier you buy the ticket, the cheaper you get it; thus, the air promos you see on ads are effective about two months prior to ticket purchase, meaning, you need to wait two months to use the promo ticket. now, back to your question…if you want to get a cheap package with air fare included, my tip is to put the air ticket price on your hand. that means, think of an exact date NOW when you are going to bora. then think of the date when you can BUY it. only then can you get the airfare that you’ll probably be buying. you can use the booking engine of airlines like PAL and Cebu Pac. otherwise, the travel agency will use the highest rate to protect itself should you suddenly decide to travel, say, tomorrow. in summary, the answer to your question will come from…tadan! YOU.

1st of all, i enjoy reading most of the questions here. and i like the website, really. i’m also a user…just want to point out that the web is supposed to be for budget travel. the key to budget travel is to take charge of airfare booking. since you’re the one who knows when you want to travel, you should schedule the date when you’re buying it. the rule of thumb is, the earlier you buy the ticket, the cheaper it is. don’t expect the travel agency to give you the lowest airfare. they can’t. it’s the airline that controls its ticket rates. if the travel agency gives you a cheap rate, and the airline suddenly jacks up its rate, the agency loses money. bad business. what the travel agency does is to give you a high airfare rate so it is protected. plus you’ll be charged a service fee. it’s only fair, i mean, you want someone to do the job for you, then expect to pay that person. eh budget travel nga. so DIY dapat. i see this airfare question every time there’s a package. it’s easy to get the airfare. visit PAL or Cebu Pac websites and book your dates. then add it to the packaged tour being offered here. if you can’t do that, i wonder if you can really do budget travel.
